Red Trolley Happy Hour

Is there not a happy hour at an ice cream shop? Probably not. But Red Trolley Cake & Cone in the Highlands neighborhood takes it up a notch with daily Root Beer Float Happy Hour from 3-6 pm. I wrote about the Red Trolley on page 55 of my Moon Denver guidebook, but at the the time they were so new his tradition was not established. The Root Beer is made of Denver's own Wynkoop Brewing Company root beer and the ice cream is pure goodness and sweetness! Even better: $2 per float.
